About Dr. Marko Marina

Marko Marina is a historian with a Ph.D. in ancient history from the University of Zagreb (Croatia). He is the author of dozens of articles about early Christianity's history. He works as a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Zagreb where he teaches courses on the history of Christianity and the Roman Empire. His research focuses on Late antique monasticism, especially St. Pachomius and his communities, and he is involved in the bilateral project Saints and Shaping of Religious Identities between the Faculty of Croatian Studies, and the Research Center for Comparative History of Religious Orders (University of Dresden).
